Tailor-made family holidays A pace that suits everyone, parents included.
With children, an itinerary that works for a couple quickly becomes exhausting. I build family trips that take into account everyone's ages, the travel times and the need to catch your breath.
- Who it is for
- Parents, children, grandparents
- Where
- France and abroad
- What I handle
- Transport, accommodation, activities, travel book
What changes with children
The same trip, different logistics.
- Travel times count double: a four-hour drive is not experienced in the same way at the age of six.
- Every change of accommodation costs half a day of packing. Fewer bases means more holiday.
- Family rooms and connecting rooms are rare and go quickly, especially during the school holidays.
- The season matters more: heat that an adult can bear can make a visit hard going for a child.
- One big activity a day is often enough. The rest of the time, the pool or the beach does the job very well.
What I prepare
A trip designed for the whole family.
An itinerary at the right pace
Few bases, short journeys, days that alternate between visits and free time. I build the itinerary and have you approve it before drawing up the quote.
Suitable accommodation
Family rooms, apartments or houses depending on the size of the family, with whatever makes life easier on the spot.
Formalities checked
I tell you which documents each traveller needs, children included, depending on the destination.
The travel book
A programme laid out as themed days, with my suggestions, and all the practical information gathered in one place.
Feedback from a trip
What families say.
Thank you for this perfect mix! We never had to think about what came next, everything flowed. And the children loved it.
Good to know
Children's documents.
Each child must have their own travel document. A few pointers for French nationals, to be checked before every departure:
- A minor leaving France without either parent must carry, in addition to their identity card or passport, an authorisation to leave the country (autorisation de sortie du territoire). If they are travelling with one of their parents, it is not required.
- For Japan, each child must have their own passport.
- For the United Kingdom, every traveller, children and babies included, must have their own Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA).
Sources: Service-Public.fr, authorisation for a minor to leave the country; Conseils aux voyageurs (French government travel advice), Japan; GOV.UK, ETA. Information checked in October 2026.
Frequently asked questions
What people ask me about family holidays.
Which destinations work well with children?
Many, as long as the pace is adapted. Corsica, Italy, the Balearic Islands and Croatia lend themselves well to a first family trip. For a trip further afield, the main questions are the flight time and the season.
Do you organise trips with grandparents?
Yes. Multi-generational trips need a balance between everyone's pace, and that is exactly what I build.
Do we have to travel during the school holidays?
Often there is no choice. In that case, planning ahead makes the difference: family accommodation and flights on holiday dates are the first to be booked up.
How does payment work?
A first deposit triggers the bookings, and payment can be made in one or several instalments, by bank transfer, card or chèques-vacances (French holiday vouchers).
Two ways to begin
A clear project, or just a wish?
Both can be worked on. The only difference is the starting point.
Tell me about your project
The form takes three minutes. Dates are not required: if you do not have any yet, an approximate period is enough.
Describe my projectBook a call
Thirty minutes by video or phone, free and with no commitment, to clarify an idea that is still taking shape and see whether I am the right person for you.
