Tailor-made hen party abroad The bride-to-be enjoys it. So does the organiser.
Organising a hen party abroad means coordinating a group whose members do not always know each other, who are leaving from different cities, on different budgets. I take on that logistics so that the maid of honour gets to be a guest again.

The real constraints
A hen party is a group trip with a fixed date.
The dates cannot move, expectations are high, and the organiser carries everything. That is what makes it trickier than a weekend away with friends.
- The guests often leave from several cities, with different arrival times.
- Restaurants and activities cannot be booked on the day for eight or fifteen people: you have to plan early, often with a set menu and a deposit.
- Budgets vary within the group, and people do not always say so up front.
- Someone has to advance the money, chase people up and make the calls. It is usually the maid of honour, and that is what most often spoils her own trip.
My method
Four steps, from the idea to departure.
1. The framework
With you: the date, the number of guests, the departure cities, the budget per person and the atmosphere you are after. These five elements are what point to the destination, not the other way round.
2. The itinerary
I suggest a destination and a programme, with highlights and free time. Once the itinerary has been approved, I draw up the quote.
3. The bookings
I book the accommodation, activities, restaurants and transfers at group rates, and I check that the local providers are reliable.
4. The travel book
Every guest has the useful information: times, addresses, programme. You no longer have to answer the same questions in the group chat.
Choosing the destination
The right place depends on the group.
A destination chosen only for its image can disappoint: overcrowded in high season, hard to reach from some cities, or without the activities you had in mind. I look at four criteria first.
- Access from every departure city, not just from Paris.
- The season: some destinations are ideal in May and exhausting in August.
- The kind of trip you want: lazing about, partying, activities, food, or a mix of all four.
- The budget per person, flights included.
Among the destinations I know in detail, the Balearic Islands, Italy and Croatia lend themselves well to a trip with friends. But a successful hen party can also take place in France.
Frequently asked questions
What people ask me about hen parties.
Does everyone have to leave from the same city?
No. In fact, that is the most common situation. I organise arrivals from several cities and make sure the group meets up without anyone waiting for hours.
Should the bride-to-be know the programme?
That is up to you. The programme is built with the organiser or organisers, and you decide what the bride-to-be discovers once there.
How far in advance should we start?
As early as possible, especially for a large group or a high-season date: accommodation and restaurants that can take a group are the first to be fully booked.
How does payment work?
A first deposit sets the bookings in motion, and payment can be made in one or several instalments, by bank transfer, bank card or chèques-vacances (French holiday vouchers).
Do you also organise stag parties?
Yes, as well as trips with friends and corporate retreats. For professional groups, see the corporate retreat and group travel page.
Two ways to begin
A clear project, or just a wish?
Both can be worked on. The only difference is the starting point.
Tell me about your project
The form takes three minutes. Dates are not required: if you do not have any yet, an approximate period is enough.
Describe my projectBook a call
Thirty minutes by video or phone, free and with no commitment, to clarify an idea that is still taking shape and see whether I am the right person for you.
