Tailor-made trip to the Balearic Islands The Balearics, one island at a time.

Mallorca, Menorca and Ibiza do not share the same pace, the same crowd or the same prices. The first decision is not the hotel: it is the island.

Why this destination with me

A trip to the Balearic Islands: what I know of this destination.

I have been on a scouting trip to Mallorca, and I have put together stays on the three main islands, Mallorca, Menorca and Ibiza, including a guide for each island for a group trip.

Each island has its own character: Mallorca for variety, between mountains, villages and coves; Menorca for calm and more unspoilt nature; Ibiza for energy, but not only that.

The classic mistake is trying to hop between islands in just a few days. The connections exist, but one island at a time is often the best choice.

When to go

When to go to the Balearic Islands? The right month depends on what you are coming for.

The three islands follow the same calendar, but not the same crowds. July and August are saturated everywhere; May, June and September offer the same sea on an island where you can actually breathe.

Itineraries

Balearic Islands itineraries: routes that are genuinely built.

This itinerary is a working basis, not a package. It is adjusted to your pace, your budget and the season.

Suggestion — seven days, six nights

One island, one week

The format that works best: a single island, one or two bases, and time to get away from the tourist areas.

Day 1 — Arrival and settling in

Flight, car pick-up and check-in. No long drive on arrival day.

Days 2 to 4 — First part of the island

Coves, villages, markets and a day of hiking or a boat trip.

Day 5 — A change of base, or not

Over a week, a single base is more than enough. A move is only worth it if the two ends of the island really have different characters.

Days 6 and 7 — Second part and return

The part of the island you have not yet explored, at your own pace, then car drop-off and return flight. I choose the flight time so that you keep a real last morning.

Feedback from the Balearics.

It was exactly the stay I needed. You understood my need for calm without my really putting it into words.

Frequently asked questions

Your questions about a trip to the Balearic Islands, and my answers.

Which island should I choose?

Mallorca if you want variety, with mountains and villages as well as the sea. Menorca for calm, coves and a family pace. Ibiza if you are looking for atmosphere, or its north if you are looking for exactly the opposite. It is the first question I will ask you.

How many days should I allow?

A week on one island is the most comfortable format. Ten days let you see two properly, with a real base on each.

When is the best time to go?

May, June and September. The sea is already or still pleasant, the islands are liveable and prices bear no comparison with August.

Are the Balearic Islands suitable for a group trip or a hen party?

Yes, it is even a popular destination for that, and I have already put together this kind of stay here. As soon as a group forms, the logistics change in nature: see the group page.

How much does a stay in the Balearic Islands cost?

The budget depends mainly on the season, the length of stay and the standard of accommodation. I ask for your budget from our first conversation, then build an itinerary that respects it. Once the itinerary is approved, I send you an overall estimate, then the detailed quote. My fees are built into the price of the services: there are no hidden costs.

Do I need a car?

On Mallorca and Menorca, yes, unless you stay in a single resort. On Ibiza, it depends on where you are staying. In every case, it is booked at the same time as everything else, not afterwards.

Two ways to begin

A clear project, or just a wish?

Both can be worked on. The only difference is the starting point.

Tell me about your project

The form takes three minutes. Dates are not required: if you do not have any yet, an approximate period is enough.
